At Jhansi Diagnostics & Fetal Medicine Centre, diagnostic excellence is led by Dr. Furquan Ahmad, Consultant Radiologist and Fetal Medicine Specialist, with expertise in advanced diagnostic imaging, obstetric ultrasound, Doppler studies, fetal medicine, and image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Dr. Ahmad completed his MBBS from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, followed by MD (Radio-Diagnosis) from PGIMER & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. He further holds the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radio-Diagnosis, the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR), Diplomate of the Indian College of Radiology and Imaging (DICRI), and certification from the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), London.
With a strong academic foundation and commitment to continuous professional development, Dr. Ahmad has authored and presented scientific papers at national and international conferences. He remains actively involved in professional and academic activities through memberships in leading organizations, including the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association (IRIA), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Society of Fetal Medicine (SFM), and the European Society of Radiology (ESR).
In addition to comprehensive diagnostic imaging and fetal assessment services, Dr. Ahmad performs a range of ultrasound-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including biopsies, fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), fluid aspirations, catheter placements, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
